About Labyrinth Hostel Weimar

Labyrinth Hostel Weimar is in a hidden courtyard off the Goetheplatz, describing itself as friendly, central and cheap, with rooms decorated by Weimar artists, a guest kitchen, free coffee and tea, and a rooftop terrace.

Rooms and a shared kitchen

Rooms run from a classic single or double bed to bunks, four-poster beds and dormitories of four to eight; the guest kitchen has cutlery, crockery, an oven and a microwave, and coffee and tea are free throughout the house. A common room holds board games and a small library, and the breakfast buffet runs from eight to noon. There is no parking at the hostel itself, but free spaces are available nearby.

Check-in is not around the clock — plan the late train

Reception opens at half past seven in the morning and closes at half past nine at night, and from Monday to Thursday it shuts for two hours in the early afternoon as well. Check-in starts at two. That is ordinary for a small independent hostel and it is worth saying plainly, because a bed this cheap in a town this well connected is exactly what someone arriving on a late train books — and after half past nine there is nobody at the desk. Write to them first if you cannot be there in time.
