Attached to the house's new production about the Bauhaus past, this workshop works from documentary material — correspondence, speeches — hunting for a position in it, and for the details an audience would actually find interesting. Then it goes onto its feet: text work, attempts at staging, and feedback. Places have to be booked in advance through the theatre's education department, and the deadline is 14 September.

The Bauhaus was founded in Weimar in 1919 and voted out by 1925 — time enough to change what a design school is, and not enough for the town that made it to keep it.
