The student club in the round tower on the Goetheplatz — club nights, live acts, karaoke and a pub quiz, carried by its own association.
About Studentenclub Kasseturm
The Studentenclub Kasseturm Weimar e.V. is the association behind the club in the tower: a platform for current and former students and their supporters to celebrate together, meet and put on cultural events. The programme plays in the tower's two rooms, the Saal and the Keller, and tickets for its nights are sold through the club's own ticket shop.
The regulars
Five series carry the calendar. Quizzeturm is the pub quiz in the tower, addressed with a grin to every know-it-all in town. That's Live! is the Friday live series, with acts from Germany and beyond that mostly travel under the radar. OK Karaoke turns the guests' singing into the night's soundtrack, 90's & 2000's Clubhits brings two decades back onto the dance floor, and Flotte Sohle is the dance evening for everyone over thirty.
