About Alt Weimar

Alt-Weimar is a guesthouse first: modern single and double rooms, self check-in around the clock, and meals next door at the Erbenhof, the restaurant in the same building, serving a modern take on Thuringian cooking. The house's own account of its history is more particular: it says the building was Rudolf Steiner's home before a full renovation in 1995 turned it into a guesthouse with a restaurant, and a second renovation in 2016 aimed to keep the original character of the place.[1]
