Restaurant Masters is the serious kitchen of the golf resort at Blankenhain, a Francophile vision awarded a Michelin star.^[1] It describes itself with unusual precision: Mediterranean and French cooking worked from regional produce, interested in the play of aromas, textures and spices. It opens in the evening only, five days a week.

Dinner only, and a long way out

There is no lunch here and no lighter option: the room opens at six and takes its last table at half past nine, Thursday through Monday. Combined with the location — a resort out in the country rather than anywhere you would walk to — that makes this an evening you plan and drive to, and probably stay for.
