Nils Karlsson Däumling

Lindgren's Nils is a lonely boy who finds a thumb-sized person living under a floorboard and learns how to shrink small enough to go and visit. Thierry Tidrow scores it for a single soprano and a violin that answers back, to a libretto by Manfred Weiß, and the piece is compact enough to travel: Weimar gives it on the Theater mobil, one morning, for anyone aged four and up.
