Karine Minasyan and Laura Brannath give an evening of Schubert songs under the one word that will not leave his music alone: longing — for a place, a person or a condition the singer is fairly certain will not arrive. He set poems with that title more than once, by more than one poet. The foyer is close enough that the words carry, which for this repertoire is the whole point.
