About Europalette
Ten evenings between the middle of September and late November, held in the vaulted cellar of the Weimar city library — a room that is small, brick and underground. The writers come from Germany, the United States, Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic and Iceland, which is the point of the name: a pallet of Europe and beyond rather than a national showcase. Readings start at half past seven, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays across the ten weeks. It is the quietest of the city's autumn series and the easiest to fit into an ordinary evening.
