About Eine neue Art, die Dinge zu sehen
Alongside its production »Utopie Bauhaus!« the theatre puts three people in conversation: the architect Michael Siebenbrodt, the art historian Anke Blümm and the director Carolin Millner. The questions are the awkward ones. How does the founding of the school, and what came after it, look from here? What do the lives of Bauhäusler like Anni and Josef Albers, Gunta Stölzl and Xanti Schawinsky tell us about that moment of social departure a century ago? And what is actually left of the utopias?
