About Gullivers Reisen

Grace is supposed to help in the house and has no time left for dancing or playing — which is a hard bargain when you are still a child. So she imagines her way out of it and becomes Gulliver, the adventuring circumnavigator of Jonathan Swift's novel, meeting wondrous creatures, getting past great dangers and making unexpected friends, until the point comes when she has to go back to her family. Lulu Raczka retells Swift's classic of 1726 as a play about the durable power of stories, and Jaz Woodcock-Stewart brings her London success to Weimar for the whole family.
