Amanda

The set-up is one man, one waiting room and a lot of time to fill: a clown expecting his dream woman Amanda uses the wait to practise the standard male conquest tactics on nobody in particular. It is the oldest structure in clowning — a person alone with an intention — and it works here because the tactics are recognisable enough to be uncomfortable and the clown is bad enough at all of them to be forgiven. Galli plays it as a regular weekday evening rather than an event, which is the right register for it.
