About Jahrestagung der IAD
A specialist congress on dialysis access, held in the Weimarhalle's seminar building at the end of November under the motto of actively shaping that field's future.
The narrowest subject in the hall's year, and not a small one
Dialysis access is the surgical and practical problem of getting reliably at a patient's bloodstream, several times a week, for years. It is the kind of speciality that never appears in a city's cultural calendar and quietly determines whether thousands of people's treatment works. It closes out Weimar's congress year in the hall's seminar building rather than the great hall — a small meeting, by the standards of the September rush.
