About Weimarer Immobilienrechtstage
A legal conference on tenancy and property law at the Weimarhalle, run jointly by the German Tenants' Association and the federal association for housing and urban development.
The interesting part is who runs it
The German Tenants' Association exists to represent tenants. It organises this conference together with the federal association for housing and urban development — and the room contains judges, solicitors, legal advisers from both tenants' and landlords' associations, and lawyers working inside housing companies and property managers. A field that spends the rest of the year opposed sits down together for two days, in Weimar, annually.
More than twenty years of it
The two associations have staged it for more than twenty years. It belongs to the half of Weimar's calendar that the tourist literature never mentions: a congress trade that fills the hotels and leaves no trace in the brochures.
