Open Monument Day
The German open-monument day, kept in Weimar under the year's national motto — free, ticketed and limited.

On 13 September 2026 the Klassik Stiftung keeps the Tag des offenen Denkmals under the year's motto, "NETZwerke: Denkmale & Infrastruktur", bringing Weimar's monuments on stage to show how networks, monuments and infrastructure belong together here. Participation is limited; free tickets come from the foundation's ticket shop, and the programme runs as timed tours through the day — the poets' rooms in the Stadtschloss and the water features at Belvedere among them.
