Open-Air-Konzertnacht mit der Staatskapelle Weimar
10 July 2027
One July night, crowning the season
The Staatskapelle crowns its season outdoors, in the lit Weimarhallenpark.
Sport in the park
A free hour of open-air training in the Weimarhallenpark, every Tuesday through the summer.
Now on, until 30 September 2026
1 May – 30 September 2026
A season rather than fixed dates.
Every Tuesday evening through the warm months the city runs an hour of training on the eastern meadow of the Weimarhallenpark — the spot marked with beach flags so you can find it without asking. A different discipline each week, no registration and no charge, and the sessions are put on for all age groups rather than for the already-fit. It is one of the few things in the Weimar calendar you can simply turn up to on a weekday evening without a ticket, a booking or any prior interest in the classical town.
A season rather than fixed dates.
A longer afternoon than the usual hour: the sports-badge day, when the test disciplines can be taken.
