About Sportfest im Rahmen von „fit und bewegt älter werden“
Four hours of sport on a September Saturday, run as part of the city's standing programme for growing older fit and active.
A programme, not a one-off
The name says where it belongs: this is a day inside an ongoing municipal effort aimed at older residents, not a stand-alone fixture. Weimar's population skews older than the visitor's impression of a student and festival town suggests, and the sport calendar reflects that more honestly than the cultural one does.
