About Sport-Mix — gemeinsam bewegen
A morning built around trying several sports in turn rather than one, aimed at schoolchildren up to the age of thirteen.
Sampling rather than training
The point of a mixed format at this age is that a child meets several sports in one morning instead of committing to one, which is how most people find the thing they stay with. It sits in the same municipal programme as the free Tuesday sessions in the Weimarhallenpark — the town's steady, unglamorous effort to get people moving who are not already in a club.
