TeleVisionale shows a selection of the year's best German-language television in the Weimarhalle from 23 to 27 November — television films, series, directing debuts, children's and youth programmes — with juries, the film-makers and the audience arguing it out in the room for five days. The competition films run in parallel on 3sat from the 21st to the 25th, where viewers vote their own prize. This is the last night, and it moves out of the hall and into the theatre: a drink in the Foyer, live music from the film business, people from both sides of the camera, and the results.
